Child Enrichment Center
The St. Augustine Child Enrichment Center, located on the St. Augustine Health Campus, is licensed by the State of Ohio to serve infants beginning at 6 weeks through pre-school. A school-age program for children
(5-12 years) is also available during the summer months and on most holidays.

Our mission is to provide quality programming in a safe environment that nurtures the child and supports the family relationship. The Center participates in the Step Up To Quality program.

The Ohio Department of Education has awarded the St. Augustine Manor Child Enrichment Center a two-star rating (out of 3 stars) as part of the Step Up to Quality Program. Ratings are based on numerous criteria such as the educational content is aligned with the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards, current education level of staff, continued specialized training, and developmental screenings of students.

Building Resiliency

The Child Enrichment Center has partnered with Starting Point, the Devereaux Foundation and Beechbrook to build achieve good social and emotional health, known as Resilience, among our children. Resilience is the ability for a child to bounce back - to help them adjust and overcome life’s ups and downs. Staff, children and parents work on three areas of Resilience: Initiative (decision making and problem solving), Self Control (experiencing a range of emotions but doing so in an appropriate manner) and Attachment (helping children develop strong, healthy relationships)
